OPPORTUNITY: Website development SAA
The Southern Africa Alliance on Carbon Markets and Climate Finance (SAA) was established to strengthen regional coordination and technical capacity to engage with Article 6 and global carbon markets. Through collaboration, Southern African countries can unlock climate finance while ensuring environmental integrity, achieving NDCs, and advancing sustainable development. The Alliance was officially launched on 25-26 March 2026 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
The Article 6 Connect (A6C): Sustainable Development through Carbon Markets in Africa global project, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, is supporting the Alliance with its establishment and operationalisation. As such the project is seeking the services of an IT consultancy based in the Southern Africa region to develop a professional, secure, and user-friendly website that reflects the Alliance’s mandate, values, and mission. The website will serve as the primary platform for disseminating information, hosting resources, facilitating collaboration among member states, and engaging external partners.
The assignment includes website design and development, content management, training, and website maintenance.
