OPPORTUNITY: Consultancy for Strategic and Executive Advice on Local Manufacturing Governance

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), SAVax programme supports South Africa’s vaccine manufacturing capabilities through local production and the entire vaccine value chain, is looking for a consultancy with expertise in local manufacturing governance and regulatory processes.

SAVax is part of the Team Europe Initiative MAV+ and co-funded by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and European Commission.

To support the SAVax programme objectives, the GIZ are seeking a consultancy tandem with specialised expertise in local manufacturing governance and regulatory processes.

The team should include:

• A senior advisor on trade and local manufacturing governance
• A regulatory affairs expert with strong private sector engagement

This highly specialised advisory support will address complex challenges across governance, trade, financing, and regulatory frameworks – working with both public institutions and private-sector stakeholders.
