OPPORTUNITY: Funded tourism youth sector placements – South Africa

Do you operate a tourism or hospitality project in the Free State or Mpumalanga? 

One of the SA Trade Desk partners have an opportunity for the placement of 15 youth funded through a Youth Employment Service (YES) project – specifically aimed at capacitating the South African tourism sector. The partner is seeking workplace placement opportunities in these 2 regions (15 youth per region). 

The host employer must commit to: 

• Providing a 12-month Quality Work Experience ensuring youth develop skills that drive employability in the tourism sector 
• Have a proven track record in developing young industry talent 
• Have a capacity to provide future long-term employment for at least 30% of funded youth at the end of the 12-month work experience
