Call for Proposals: 1ST BRICS STI Framework Programme
The Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) is calling on South African researchers, innovators, SMMEs, and universities to collaborate with innovators in other BRICS countries on high-impact R&D projects.
The BRICS STI Framework Programme Member Organisations invite applications from member countries to identify potential partners in other BRICS countries and to jointly prepare proposals for collaborative Research & Development (R&D) projects addressing societal challenges through innovation.
Who should apply?
- Researchers, innovators, SMMEs and Universities
- Partnerships involving at least 2 BRICS countries
Outcomes:
- Unlock opportunities for international collaboration & market access
- Access funding to scale validated technologies towards commercialisation
- Contribute to economic growth and improved quality of life across BRICS nations
